Students who violate conduct expectations may be dismissed from the program.
Safety is our top priority. All students must:
Follow safety protocols during hands‑on training
Use equipment responsibly
Report unsafe conditions immediately
Comply with all firearm and defensive tactics guidelines (for Level III & PPO courses)
Never bring unauthorized weapons onto school property
Failure to follow safety procedures may result in removal from training.
Consistent attendance is required to meet state training standards.
Students must attend all scheduled sessions
Excessive absences may require course retake
Late arrivals may result in missed credit for that session
Make‑up sessions are offered only when available and may include additional fees
Students are responsible for keeping track of their schedule and attendance.
Blackwood maintains a zero‑tolerance policy for:
Cheating
Plagiarism
Falsifying documents
Misrepresenting training hours
Dishonest behavior during assessments
Violations may result in immediate dismissal.
Certain programs require a background check in accordance with Texas state regulations.
Students must meet eligibility requirements for licensing
Any disqualifying offenses will be reviewed according to state guidelines
Students are responsible for submitting accurate information
Our admissions team will guide students through the process.
Tuition must be paid according to the schedule provided at enrollment.
Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
Withdrawal before the course start date
Withdrawal within the allowable refund window
Course cancellation by the school
Refund amounts follow state guidelines and will be clearly communicated during enrollment.
